Sheila’s Diary

Sheila is a lovely lady who regularly helps out here at the Drop In Centre, and she has written a little diary of what she enjoys doing during her regular week.
Hello, my name is Sheila and I live in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan. I am married to Alan and we have just moved to a new bungalow in Cadoxton. This is my diary where I can share with you all the things I get up to during the week. The bungalow is nice, it is in Cadoxton it is nice to be on one level without stairs, because of Alans’ health.. On Monday mornings I go along to a crochet and knitting class at Age Concern, I enjoy doing crochet and have made a few blankets. On Wednesday mornings I go to an extend exercise class at Age Concern we all enjoy the exercises. The building is by a busy street, and bus stop , the people like to watch us doing the exercises. Every two weeks I come along to the Castleland Community Centre at Belvedere Crescent to the craft class, and enjoy making cards, for friends and family. On Thursday mornings I sometimes go along to aqua aerobics at the Barry Leisure Centre. On Fridays I come along to help do some Admin work at the Drop In Centre at Castleland Community Centre, and Friday afternoons I am busy at the Open Learning Centre at Kendrick Road on my course. I am going on a trip next week to Llandeilo in West Wales so I will see you soon.
