Sheila’s Diary #21

Saturday 30th April 2016

Peter called and we went to see Alan at the Heath Hospital.

Then we went to the café where we had cheese and ham toasted sandwiches.

Sunday 1st May, 2016

I went to Parkside Church as there was a christening for the baby girl and lots of people were there.

Monday 2nd May, 2016

I had a full monty meal for lunch.

I went to Cardiff to see Alan and met Jane there.

Alan is looking a bit better today.

Tuesday 3rd May, 2016.

I met Peter and we went to the Tynewydd Inn to meet our group.

A lady who worked at the Tynewydd said a group of ladies were there and left half hour ago.

We went in the car to Cardiff Bay but we were too late and the group had left.

We had Cheese with Jacket Potatoes and later we had a game of bowling.

I won by two points 98 and 96 points.

Later we went to Penarth and looked around a few shops.

Wednesday 4th May, 2016.

I caught a train to Cardiff and bought Alan pyjamas, deodorant, body spray, a toothbrush, mouthwash and razors.

I am pleased Alan is looking a bit better now, he wanted squash so I went down to the concourse shops and bought him some orange squash.

On the way back I went to a coffee shop in St. Mary Street and had a cheese and pineapple jacket potato with side salad.

Thursday 5th May, 2016.

I went to see Bill Dad’s friend at Springbank Nursing Home where I had a meal with him, Steak Pie, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and gravy and a blackberry and apple pie with custard.

Then I went to vote.

I sat in Pencoedtre Park for a while in the sunshine.

Friday 6th May, 2016.

I went around a few shops where I bought two tee shirts for Alan from Peacocks and some shorts for myself at Bon Marche.

I am busy today typing my diary for the week at Castleland Community Centre and also sorting the sweets out for the Friday night club.
