In the evening, I went to St. Cadoc’s Church where I had a nice evening and afterwards I had a lift back home again.

In the morning I went to Parkside Church as it was a nice morning and afterwards I had a lift back with Linda and Roy.

Monday 14 March, 2016

I went for a meal with Alan where we had ham, potatoes, peas and parsley sauce and it was a lovely meal.

Alan likes his new hat.

Tuesday 15 March, 2016

I went to the knitting and crochet group at the library and it was a nice morning.

Wednesday 16 March, 2016

I went to Castaways Club at Castleland Community Hall where I had cheese and beans with a jacket potato and a side salad.

I won twice with the bingo, £11.00.

Thursday 17 March, 2016.

I had a chicken dinner with Alan and bananas and custard for dessert as well and it was a lovely meal.

Friday 18 March, 2016

There was a nice party at the Open Learning Centre where we had sandwiches, chocolate cake, carrot cake and Schloer drinks and it was a great party.

Saturday 19 March, 2016

I went along to Brewers Fayre for Katalin’s birthday where I had hunters chicken with chips and it was a lovely meal.

Katalin liked her books and all of her other presents as well.

I went along to Parkside Church in Gibbonsdown, it was a nice morning and I had a lift back with Linda and Roy.

In the evening I went to the Giggles Ladies Group at the church coffee bar and it was a nice night.

I went along to the knitting and crochet group in the library and it was a nice morning.

I went to Castaways Club at Castleland Community hall and it was a good morning.

I stayed home today and kept the cat Lucky company.

Friday 25 March, 2016

I went along to Springbank Nursing Home and saw Bill Dad’s friend and he was pleased with the vests which I took him.

I had a steak pie with potatoes and gravy there.

Later on I went along to see Alan at College Fields Nursing Home where there was an Easter bonnet parade there today, Councillor  Johnson came along to judge the bonnets and there were lovely ones there.

Later on we all had a lovely tea, sausage rolls, different cakes and scones with jam and cream, it was a great afternoon.

I went along to High Street to the Easter Bonnet Parade as there were some pretty hats there, lots of children entered the competition and 2 ladies were in it.

They walked up and down High Street, then back to Hubana’s where Jane Hutt and Alan Cairns judged them.

Later on I had a meal there, a large toad in the hole with potatoes and onion gravy.

I went to Parkside Church in Gibbonsdown and the Easter Sunday service was nice.

I gave out the Easter cards and I had a basket with sweets in it.

I made a stewed steak pie for lunch, with potatoes and gravy.

I stayed in bed today.

For lunch I had the rest of the meat pie, with roast potatoes, peas and gravy and it was delicious.

I made a lovely fruit cake and iced it.

Karen phoned and said that the trains were on strike so she will see me next Monday instead.

Peter came along to the Castaways Club at Castleland Community Hall, it was a great morning and  we both won the raffle prizes.

Thursday 31 March, 2016

Kelly phoned and said that her car broke down so she will call again next week.

Pay As You View called and I gave them the cheque.

Friday 1 April, 2016

I told people on the B3 bus there was free bread in Greggs today as a joke for April Fools Day and they all believed me.

Later on I called into Greggs and said I heard there was free bread there today, the lady said “no, who told you that” and later we all laughed about it.

I was busy today at the Drop in Centre, typing out my diary.

I had a meal with Alan today at College Fields Nursing Home, beefburgers and chips with tomato sauce and it was a nice meal.

In the evening, I went along to St. Cadoc’s Church and Colin gave James and I a lift home again.

Derek called to the house with the rent money.

I went along to the knitting and crochet group.

In the afternoon, Karen called to see me and brought chocolates, madeira and chocolate eclairs with her.

I made coffee and gave her an Easter egg and also one for her mum and dad as well.

I went along to Salem church hall for the fish and chips meal, it was a lovely meal and cost £5.00.

Thursday 7 April, 2016

I stayed around Cadoxton today.

I went to have my hair coloured, trimmed and styled at Jenny’s in Barry Road and it looks lovely.

In the evening, I went along to the Gibbonsdown Hall for the Healthy Hearts keep fit group, but there was a sign on the door saying that it was cancelled tonight.

Friday 8 April, 2016

I went along to the Principality Building Society and got some more money ouT.

Then I went to Leisuretime travel agents, I showed the lady my holiday photos and she thought they were nice.

I am busy today typing my diary again.
